Rust-brown yarn (for body]
Orange and yellow yarn (for mane and tail)
Orange felt (for nose and feet)
Plastic eyes 3/8 in. (10 mm) diameter
Brown embroidery floss

Direction
Body
Make a loop with tail end of yarn on right, keeping baii end on left. Pull the ball end through Loop. Make one chain through loop on hook you have drawn through to steady the circle. Work 5 sc into the circle and complete the circle with Sl st into the first sc.

Rnd 1: 5c 2 into each 5 sc.
Rnd 2: Sc 1, 2 sc into next sc * five times.
Rnd 3:  Sc 2, 2 sc into next sc * five times.
Rnd 4:  Sc 3, 2 sc into next sc * five times.
Rnd 5:  Sc 4, 2 sc into next sc * five times.
Rnd 6-10: Sc 1 all around.

 Rnd 11:*Sc4, skipl,1sc* five times.
Rnds 12-13: Sc 1 all around.
Rnd 14: * Sc 3, skip 1,1 sc * five times.
Rnds 15-16: Sc 1 all a round.
Rnd  17: * Sc 2, skip 1,1 sc * five times.
Rnd 18; * Sc 1. skip 1, 1 sc * five times.
Rnd 19: * Sc 1, skip 1 * five times.
Fasten off.
 
Mane (make two)
Ch36.
Row 1: * Ch 1, 5 sc into the first st, skip 1,1 sc in next st Repeat from * fo end.
Make one with orange and one with yellow.

Tail
Make a tiny tassel with orange yarn then attach to 18 chains in brown.

The mane event
Make two manes and sew one on top of the other around the face.
