Short Bio
Safire became interested in magic at the age of seven when she received her first magic set as a gift from her father. Since then, her love of magic has gone beyond merely performing on stage - she has also written and produced numerous magic shows.

She has dedicated herself to the study and production of every detail of magic, from storyboarding, choreography, editing music, and even the invention of new magic techniques. Her first love, however, will always be performing magic.

This passion for magic has taken Safire around the world. While in Nanjing, China she became the apprentice of the resident magician of the Nanjing Acrobatics Troupe.

In Beijing, China she studied the art of Peking Opera with Duke University's Study In China program.

Back home in the United States, while completing her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Language and Literature at Smith College in Massachusetts, she performed for the Smith College television station, the annual Smith College Asian Teahouse Celebration, and numerous other events sponsored by Smith College.

Since returning to San Francisco, Safire has performed in many local celebrations of Asian culture as well as for private companies, promotional events, and festivals.

Most recently, she was honored to be chosen to appear on Fox Network's Thirty Seconds to Fame television show.
