Tilly Edinger

Tilly Edinger was born in Germany in 1897. She received her doctorate from the University of Frankfurt in 1921.

In 1940 she emigrated to the USA and joined the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard.

She pioneered work in the field of palaeoneurology - the study of the brain and the nervous system. She died in 1967.
