Body
Make a loop with tail end of yarn on right, keeping ball end on left. Pull the ball end through loop. Make one chain through loop on hook you have drawn through to steady the circle. Sc 5 into the circle and complete with SI st in to the first sc.

Rnd 2. Sc 1, 2 sc into next sc five times.
Rnd 3. Sc 2, 2 sc into next sc five times.
Rnd 4. Sc 3, 2 sc into next sc five times.

Fasten off. Leave a long end, to make a small bobble on top of the hat.
