Wood- anger - outward movement
Anger is not always negative, and each of the emotions has its rightful place in the human psyche.
It is only when one emotion is overindulged and overcomes the others that it may be considered harmful.
Anger makes the energy move outward and upward, but suppressed anger, which may be called frustration, blocks energy and causes stagnation.
The Liver function is the most susceptible to this stagnation, which can in turn lead to anger and irritability.
Wood has an outward, expansive movement, and its associated emotion is anger. The corresponding human sound is shouting.
