Stripe Sequence
2 rows B; 4 rows E; 8 rows A; 2 rows C; 4 rows D; 8 rows F.

Purse
With B, cast on 66 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch, following Stripe Sequence, until piece measures 30" (76 cm) from beginning. Bind off all stitches.

Assembly
Cut a 16" x30" (40.5 x 76 cm) rectangle of Heat “n” Bond. Fuse to wrong side of cotton fabric. Trim excess fabric. Peel off paper. Lay knit piece right side down on ironing surface. Place adhesive side of fabric onto Purse.

Line up all edges and fuse in place, using low temperature only and no steam. Sew side and bottom seams of Purse. Optional Fuse 1" (2.5 cm) strips of fabric over seams on the inside of Purse.

Determine placement of suede handles and pin in place. Use doubled sewing thread to sew through precut holes. To form base of Purse, fold the bottom corners to the inside, making small triangles on the inside of the Purse. Press or stitch in place.
