Night on the Town Bag

This bag is just a square with eyelets around the edges. Weave a drawstring through the holes and gather it into a handle.

11" (28 cm) square before gathering to close, excluding Drawstring

Lion Brand Glitterspun
60% Acrylic 13% Polyester, Medium 27% Cupro 13/4 oz{5oG) 115 yd (105 m) Ball
1 ball #150 Silver (MC) or color of your choice

Lion Brand Festive Fur
80% Polyester 20% Metallic Polyester 1 ¾ OZS {50 g) 55 yd (50 m) Ball
1 ball  # 150 Silver (CC) or color of your choice

Size 13 (9 mm) knitting needles or size to obtain gouge
Size H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook
 
Gauge
11 stitches + 22 rows = 4" (10 cm) in garter stitch (knit every row) with 1 strand each of MC and CC held together. Be sure to check your gauge.

Stitch Explanation
k2tog  Knit two stitches together (right-slanting decrease).

Bag
With 1 strand each of MC and CC held together, cast on 30 stitches.
Knit 2 rows.

Row 1 Knit 2, (yarn over, k2tog, knit
1) 9 times, knit 1.
Rows 2-4 Knit.
Row 5 Knit 2, yarn over, k2tog, knit until 3 stitches remain, yarn over, k2tog, knit 1.
 
Repeat Rows 2-5 for 12 more times.
Knit 3 rows.
Repeat Row 1.
Knit 1 row.
Bind off loosely. Weave in ends.

Drawstring
With MC, chain 90. Slip stitch in each chain across. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Assembly
Beginning at any corner of Bag, thread drawstring through yarn overover holes across all 4 edges of square. Pull ends to close.
