Mushroom Canapes

Make 1/2 as much sauce as mushrooms. Season it with:
Salt and paprika
Freshly grated nutmeg

Combine sauce and mushrooms.   When cold, add a little:
Whipped cream
Heap these ingredients on:
Small rounds of bread or toast

Garnish the canapes with:
Paprika and parsley
Serve   immediately   or   run   under   the broiler.
