Patient Has a Sore Throat

This patient has a sore throat. After taking an extensive case history, the acupuncturist has decided that the problem is one of Wind Heat and so has inserted needles on the Three Heater meridian at point 5, the Lung meridian at point 1 and the Large intestine at point 4.

As with all acupuncture, the treatment is specific to this particular patient. Someone else may be suffering from a sore throat for other reasons, and their treatment will be different.
