Last 12 rows are repeated to form lace patt.
Cont in lace patt until edging fits around entire edge of coat, ending with a row 12. Leave stitches on needle and DO NOT break off yarn.

To finish
Press coat and lace edging lightly on WS, following instructions on yarn label.
Starting at right front neck corner, slip stitch edging in place around edge of coat, easing in fullness around corners (if necessary, work more rows on edging or unravel rows until edging fits as required).

Cast/bind off edging sts and sew together cast-on and cast-/bound-off ends. Sew hook-and-eye fasteners to center front edge, behind the lace.

Sew cast-on edge of strap to inside of coat so that it will sit just behind the foreleg. Sew press-stud fasteners/ snaps to cast-/bound-off edge of strap and to inside of coat to correspond.
