To finish
Press coat lightly on WS following instructions on yarn label and avoiding garter stitch.

Starting at right front neck edge and using the photograph as a guide, slip stitch edging in place around edge of coat, forming frogging and a loop at center front for button and forming a loop at each back corner.

(If necessary, work more rows on edging or unravel rows until edging fits as required.) Cast/bind off edging sts and sew ends together.

Sew on button to correspond with button loop. Sew cast-on edge of strap to inside of coat so that it will sit just behind the foreleg. Sew one press-stud fastener/snap to each free corner of strap and to corresponding position on the inside of coat.
