Don't Have Sweets at Every Meal
Sugary foods don't have the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that your body needs to be healthy, which is why we call calories "empty."
If you include sweets in a meal, eat a small serving and check your blood sugar before you eat, and between one and two hours after, lo see how it affects you.
Keep an eye on your weight and blood-sugar levels over time, and hold back on the sweets if you see your numbers creeping up
