Mockingbird Muffins

Ingredients:
2 cups cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup regular milk (or buttermilk, if you have any on hand)
1 cup diced meat and fat scraps
sprinkling of sand
Directions:

Mix all ingredients and pour into greased muffin cups. Bake at 425degrees F for 20 minutes. Let cool, remove from pan and serve at the ground or on a platform feeder.

Ready in: 30-60 minutes
